Son Cubano’s sound includes authentic Cuban instruments and a deep repertoire of styles, tempos and songs from all the greats including Buena Vista Social Club, Arsenio Rodriguez, Celia Cruz, Tito Puente, Oscar D’Leon, and many others, with some surprises thrown in. Bandleader and Cuban tres player Josh Schneck formed the band in 2024. He’s joined by Fran Vielma on congas, Eduardo Padua on bongos and hand percussion, Matvei Sigalov on guitar and violin, and the amazing Gabriel Vivas on upright bass.
