The premise of "Mensagem" is a celebration of poetry and literature through music. Star soprano Lara Martins, one of London West End's most awarded singers, joins forces with powerhouse pianist Nuno Marques, presenting a program of new music and beloved classics, entirely based on Portuguese literature and poetry. For these two artists, born in Portugal but part of the diaspora, the dissemination of Portuguese culture is an essential part of their artistic journey. This project was a natural step, which they both embraced with passion."Mensagem", aims to show poetry and Portuguese language in a new perspective. Through their art, writers and poets contributed to the Portuguese language becoming a point of connection around the world.
