Ustad Dilshad Hussain Khan is an international violinist, composer and musicologist . Dilshad Hussain is a Pakistani-American citizen . He comes from seven generations of musicians and has studied and traveled worldwide. He plays Western & Eastern Classical, Jazz & Blues country music Native American and Fusion music from all around the World. He is the five-time winner of the Amir Khusro Award and has composed classical music for radio and television. He was the first chair violinist for the Pakistan National Orchestra (CPU LAHORE) He is the Founder of the Pakistan Chamber Orchestra. He has won the National Award (equivalent to the U.S. Grammy Award) and President Award. He is the only violinist to win the Graduate Award seven times in Pakistan. He has performed live in the Royal Festival Hall London, National Symphony Hall in England as well in Scotland, Germany, France, Switzerland, Sweden, Pakistan, Spain, India, Canada and U.S.A. He has produced music and given lecture demonstration music concerts in Oxford, Cambridge, Redford University and Columbia University.  He has performed several programs on Voice of America Radio, TV Washington, D.C., BBC Television, radio, Pakistan TV, Prime TV, Geo TV, ARY TV and  PTV several other International Channels.  He has performed in all major music festivals all over the world. He is the winner of the Best Musician Award 2001 from the UK, which was held in Symphony Hall, Birmingham on May 9th, 2001. He has won awards from U.S. State and Labor Departments. He was awarded American citizenship  as  an  outstanding violinist. He is the  only  violinist  who  received The Lifetime  Achievement Award in Pakistan-  in  2003. $80/Pakistani buffet/non-alcoholic drinks- ample parking on street.
